Ph.D. in Public Health

• Concentration in Social and Behavioral Health Sciences
  This doctoral program offers students specialized instruction in theories and methods that emphasize the social, psychological and behavioral influences on health, illness and disease prevention.  We are accepting applications for Fall 2010 on a rolling admission basis. This fully accredited Ph.D. program is highly selective, so early application is recommended. Applications are reviewed by the Graduate School for completion, and forwarded to the CPHHP Admissions committee.
• Concentration in Occupational and Environmental Health Sciences
  The Connecticut Department of Higher Education approved this new Ph.D. program on June 20, 2007, and the first students were admitted Fall 2008. We are currently accepting applications for January 2010 on a rolling admission basis. Applications are reviewed by the Graduate School for completion, and forwarded to the CPHHP Admissions committee.
