Nancy Wong, DMD, MPH is a dental liaison for the Urban Service Track (UST) program. She practices general dentistry at the Community Health and Wellness Center of Greater Torrington where she provides care to urban and rural underserved patients. During her MPH and residency training at Saint Francis Hospital she coordinated the UST Leadership Cabinet dinner/discussion series as well as 3rd year mentoring program. While enrolled in dental school training, she was selected as an Urban Health Scholar and served as a team member, team lead and coach for a variety of UST community-based activities. As dental liaison, she provides guidance to current Urban Health Scholars and assists with the facilitation of learning retreats, advocacy and leadership activities sponsored by CT AHEC.
In her spare time, she likes to watch home design shows and participate in active things, such as biking, running, hiking, and trampoline jumping with her co-workers.
