Riddhi Doshi studied medicine at LTM Medical College in Mumbai, India and subsequently earned her Masters in Public Health at Achutha Menon Center for Health Sciences Studies in Kerala, India. She worked in the Research Division at University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Chattanooga from 2008-2011, then move to Fort Wayne, Indiana and was employed by Parkview Health Systems from 2012-2014 as a research epidemiologist. She began her doctoral studies in Public Health in August 2014, and is working with Dr. Robert Aseltine.
Her research encompasses examining racial and economic disparities in health outcomes with regards to maternal health and chronic diseases and developing innovative electronic and mobile solutions to improve outcomes. She has extensive training and experience with both qualitative and quantitative methods as well as academic writing. She serves on the Education Committee of the American College of Epidemiology. She serves as an associate editor for the International Journal for User Driven Healthcare and as a reviewer for multiple international journals.
