Undergraduate Programming

The CT AHEC Network supports health careers exploration through service learning and clinical immersion activities with an emphasis on interprofessionality, primary care and underserved populations. Undergraduate students can register to participate in the following activities, sponsored or supported by CT AHEC:

 

 

The Problem-Based Learning and Clinical Skills Immersion activity is a free, one-day program at UConn Health in April, geared toward first- and second-year college students, which allows learners to step into the role of a health professional and participate in a clinical skills activity, learn about different health careers, and interact with current health professions students. 100% of learners report that “it was a positive experience to have health professions and research students as mentors for the program.”
